H2B Cap for the Second Half of the Fiscal Year to Reach Soon

On December 29, 2008 USCIS updated the count of H-2B petitions received and counted towards the H-2B cap for the second half of the fiscal year 2009. As of December 29, 2008, 29,702 H-2B Visa petitions have been counted towards the 33,000 cap for the second half of FY 2009. Out of the total 29, 702 H-2B Visa Petitions, 15,764 beneficiaries have been approved while 13, 938 are pending.
